Frame Freeze using capture on the Media Express

I noticed that when trying to capture video using the Blackmagic Media Express there is an occasional freeze on the video. Also there's a lot of noticeable motion blurr. I'm using the ATEM 1 M/E as my switcher and I'm trying to create a Apple ProRes 4422 1080i 59.94 file. I'm using 2 Mac Mini's, one for the Media Expess and the other for the ATEM controller. I'm capturing the video with a UltraStudio Express and saving it to a G Raid 8 TB hard drive with Thnderbolt. I've played with the different codec's and I'm still having the same problem. I'm using a TriCaster as a secondary record and to stream video. Both the record and flash file created from my TriCaster have no freezing issues.
