Intensity Extreme - USB-C Adapters

I just recently took hold of a new MacBook Pro (late 2016) model with 4 USB-C ports

My problem and question for the community is what USB-C adapters are supported by the Intensity Extreme devices?

The Apple specific adapters model # A1790 don't seem to work with them. My system and specifically the encoding software I'm using (Telestream Wirecast) does not seem to recognize any camera I connect to using the adapters.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might be out of luck. As far as I know, apple is the only person making a thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2 adapter. You may want to consider upgrading to the Hyperdeck studio mini.
