3 or more MiniRecorders on late 2016 15" MBP?

Has anyone attempted to use 3 or 4 Ultrastudio MiniRecorders or 3 MiniRecorders and a MiniMonitor on a late 2016 15" MBPr? I'm thinking of going in that direction for live streaming but one associate is saying that no more than two devices are being recognized.

I'm currently experiencing this issue while trying to use 2 Mini Recorders and 1 Mini Monitor. Only two will show up at a time--if I unplug any given one the third will show up :(

Would love to hear from BMD about this issue.

I am running two UltraStudio Mini Recorders on a MacBook Pro 2014. Except of loosing input configuration in Blackmagic Control Panel after Windows 10 restart it runs fine so far. I would also be interested in whether three devices are possible.

Just to clarify, I am using a late 2016 15" MBP running Bootcamp. They are connected with some Thunderbolt 2 to 3 adaptors. Aside from only 2 showing up at a time everything is working great.

That's an important bit of information. This means the issue of no more than 2 being recognized is not an OS related issue.

It could be the driver (but the same driver can support 3 or more on Mac Pro TB2) or it may well be a hardware limitation.

No one else confirming here?

I know know of at least two people outside of this forum reporting the same issue on the new 4 TB3 15" MBP. Only two Blackmagic devices show up. If only someone from Blackmagic would confirm the cause.

I have only been able to get two at a time to work. I did use a Belkin TB2 Hub with a TB2 to TB3 adapter to get the 3rd cam to work. Not sure what the issue is , but it is disappointing .

At this point I'm going to guess the issue is power related otherwise it would be impacting other devices.
I wonder what would happen with four bus power external drives. Of course the draw may be less on those.
If it's power related Apple should be clear in their specs about total combined power draw.

Someone else having this issue finally heard back from Apple. It does seem to be a limit on the bus power.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) and MacBook (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) can power two devices that use up to 15 watts, and two more devices that use up to 7.5 watts. It doesn’t matter which side of your MacBook Pro that they're connected to—power is delivered on a first-come, first-served basis. We were unable to find the wattage requirements for the black magic device. The black magic website had no details about wattage requirements. Please contact BlackMagic for details about the wattage requirements. You will most likely need to purchase a powered hub.

It would be good if Blackmagic listed the power requirements for their bus powered devices.
