Canon EOS 7D & ATEM TV Studio HD Compatibility

Hi all,

It is possible to connect via HDMI a Canon EOS 7D in Live View to ATEM TV Studio HD?

It could work. But you Will get a windowed live view with a red record dot on it if you record..
also you Will overheat your sensor when using for longer times video mode.. it is a photo camera with "video" function..

If doing live video don't Go for Dslr camera's.. too many reported problems.

I use 5D mk iii, no problem at all.
But not suggest 7D, 7D mk ii should be ok as well.
BMCC 2.5k, Canon 5D mk3
Canon 24-70mm f2.8, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 II, Rokinon 14mm cine T3.1

Sensor overheat is a serious issue on the 7D. I use it a lot with Magic Lantern to shoot raw and I have to power it down to let it cool every half hour or so. Also, as Xtreemtec said, the 7D doesn't have a clean HDMI out. I don't think, it's the right camera to do this kind of things.
