Fujinon custom lens control

PostThu Apr 13, 2017 4:04 am

I will shortly have available ATEM to Fujinon controller which uses the BMD Arduino Shield, so all control can happen over the return video (no need for any other cable at the camera end other than the return video (HDSDI)). The ATEM can remotely control the lenses Iris, Zoom and Focus. The return feed can also loop through to control a BMD camera with CCU capabilities.

It also uses my own design Zoom/iris and Focus controllers.
They connect to the controller box which controls the older Fujinon lenses. This controller box controls the Lens's zoom, focus and iris, as well as providing Program and Preview tallies.
The Focus controller (with pan handle clamp) is infinite rotary with push switch and the Zoom controller (with pan handle clamp) uses a XY joystick where X (left/right) controls zoom in/out and the Y (up/down) controls the IRIS while holding down the joystick push button.
The controllers work along side the ATEM controls, as well as stand alone, so you can operate from behind the camera with or without an ATEM.
Just waiting on all the connectors before I start to sell them.
They will probably be made in black but hey! .... pick your own custom colour!!!

Hi, nice work. I'd be very interested in something like this. Will you be selling it?

Any way to control my Ursa Broadcast (ccu, lens, tally and intercom) without an Atem switcher? I'm using vMix...

Yes, for CCU camera controls (not intercom) With the Arduino Shield, you can build a controller, or get one from LeViteZer (Kim Jason). Separate third party intercom and Talley controllers are available, see Baz collection above. For LeViteZer, see: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=73283
