recording from Canon HF G30 into obs - screen doubles

Hi,

I'm recording video on a canon HF G30. It has an hdmi output, which we are sending into our Black Magic Intensity extreme. The Intensity is connected to a new macbook pro via a thunderbolt wire.

We are using obs - open broadcast service(https://obsproject.com/) to broadcast to a streaming service provider.

After much fiddling and getting all the setting in alignment, we have video but the screen is doubled. There is a green horizontal line around halfway down and the same video is shown twice (one above and one below the green line)

Any ideas?

Paul, did you ever get this to work? We are looking into getting the HF G30 or G40. We use the same setup, Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle into OBS and a Service Provider for streaming from there. Would love to hear if you got it working, or how your setup is working for you! Thanks,
Todd
