In the press release, the release date was May 2017, does anyone know of an update date?

I have this question too!

I pre-ordered this item in early June, and have received no updates on status. I can't find any conversations or further announcements regarding it since the initial release announcement in April.

Very curious if anyone else has heard any progress reports or explanations as to the delay.

I have seen several units already in the field.. So they are shipping them to end users.. Ask your dealer whats up you haven't had a notification yet!

I received mine around 27 July, but it was ordered just after the announcement. There is a lot of interest for the Atem Televison Studio Pro HD worldwide, so as suggested by Xtreemtec, you might check with your dealer - it depends how many items he had pre-ordered.
