Handling 4 Channel Audio

PostMon Jun 26, 2017 1:56 pm

Can the ATEM handle 4 channel audio? If no, is any audio that is not on channel 1+2 simply routed into oblivion or is it also passed through the ATEM all the way to the PGM (essentially keeping the original signal). If yes, are all audio channels simply squashed into channel 1+2 or does the ATEM keep channel allocations? Can multiple audio channels be controlled using the volume faders or do these just modify channel 1+2.

All other audio channel then 1 & 2 are simply ignored and discarded..

If you need to hussle your audio channels use a MD-HX.. you can define which audio channel must be on which track..

If you want the 4 audio channels.. You need to use a De-embedder ..
