Intenisty Shuttle USB Not being recognized...Please help.

We have a later 2013 IMAC with I5 chip and running Seirra. No matter what I try, the the device will not be detected. According to the device manager, we have 3.0 ports. We also have installed the latest drivers.

Any ideas? Please help! Ty

Make sure you download and install the newest Desktop Video software from Blackmagic design support page.

We have the latest bm software. Tried the device on a brand new 2017 Mac mini, and it won't work.

The usb 3.0 cable are so fragile and fail for nothing.

It's worth noting that I found this to be the solution for a "non-functioning" Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt version, as well. The Thunderbolt cable decided not to work properly and needed replacement. My first port of call when experiencing such problems is now Thunderbolt and USB cables.
