Intentionally Introduce Input Delay

PostMon Jul 17, 2017 1:40 am

Hi,

We currently have two Decklinks for input on a machine, which mixes the same signal together. One signal comes directly from a camera, while the other one came from a computer which processed the signal before sending it to this machine. As a result of this, their inputs are not synchronized. Is there a way to synchronize these two signals via the decklink? We use CasparCG for mixing.

Not sure if this is the answer you are looking for and assuming you can't compensate for it after the capture in an editor: The Roland VC-1-DL has the ability to add up to 9 fields or 4.5 frames to the video.
