What is MagicSoft Playout Client automation?

I've been exploring some MagicSoft Playout Client functions, and I noticed I haven't any idea of what may this be. Besides, I took a look into this product guide pdf file, and found nothing, searched on Internet, and the same. So, the question is obvious, what is this for? How do I use it?
