Hello everyone !

In my church we have already 3 cameras Sony Dxc D50 with 3 CCU D50.
We want to upgrade for HD and 4K step by step because money.

We had a Snell and Wilcox switchpack 8 as switcher but now
it does not work anymore.

So, we would like to buy a ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K to start our progression.

But my concern is about Tally and intercom. I don't how to do, i'm lost.

I need some help with diagram or anything else.

Sorry for my english, I am french :D .

Thanks a lot

What is your current intercom system?

So if your intercom is wireless, why worry about what switcher you use?

For using tally, you can connect ATEM mixer with CCUs with a Blackmagic tally box or using an Arduino with an Ethernet schield and some relais. I'm sure, that Teds interface also works fine.

Why a new intercom is needed ? Why must Intercom be wireless, when already using CCUs and thick cables ? When you have Cameras with Sony CCU D50, they have integrated Intercom...

As long, you only change the mixer, your only task is to connect the tally to the new mixer. Intercom works the same way like before without any changes....

When thinking about a new wireless intercom and you have less money, take a look to Mumble software. All you need is a small server (I think a raspberry works fine), some old iPads (or any other hardware supporting Mumble Apps) and a WLAN.
