DeckLink real time video capture

PostThu Aug 10, 2017 7:05 pm

Does any of the DeckLink product have the ability of:

Encode 4 simultaneous SD streams (RS-170A and/or RS-343A) and make them available to the underlying CPU.

My requirements are to capture 4 streams and re-send them over a 10GBps TCP/IP connection as 4 separate streams.

Which DeckLink card - if any - i can use to the effect?

Thanks,

Hello Jorge. The Decklink Duo will capture up to 4 streams of Serial Digital video. You would need to convert analog to digital for each stream externally. It is a digital only device.

In addition to the capture card, you may want to look in to NDI Connect Pro for the IP transmission: https://www.newtek.com/connect/connect-pro/
