Hi!

I am trying to connect my Hyperdeck Studio Mini to my Television Studio HD Pro using one single BNC cable. I want to use the benefits of dual link but I cannot get it to work.

When I use two cables I can clearly select one for key and another for fill - the result is perfect. When I use one cable and select this input as both key and fill I get a semi-opaque image overlay. It does not look good at all.

I can't seem to change any settings on the Hyperdeck for the output. On previous models this could be done in the menus. Am I missing something?

The ATEM TVS, or any ATEM cannot extract key and fill from a single SDI signal. You must use both outputs, one fill and one key on the Hyperdeck Mini to properly key the image.

How does it work exactly ? Is this functionnality (dual SDI key+fill on a signle unit) working ony with ProRes ? Or can it be used with a DNxHD / DNxHR file with alpha ?
The operating Manual isn't very clear at all with this point.
