Hello,
Im using a decklink duo 2 which worked great with my 80m 3g-sdi cables but suddenly i get no signal using these 80m cables. when i use a 5 meter cable everything works fine.
i tried the 80m cables with my atomos shogun and the signal is pefect using the 80m cable, any idea why it stopped working with the BM decklink duo 2 ? I updated to 10.9.5 etc.
what for is the usb plug on the card?

any ideas?

thanks
felix

Which cable do you use? 80 metres is very long for 3g sdi! I once had about 100 metres sdi, 720p50, every time i used my radio set, i lost my sdi signal...

lots of different cables have different ratings on distance depending on the signal and size of cable. a typical RG6 cable should go 100m.

What could be is that they changed some code for controlling the Cable EQ / Reclockers on the Decklink card..
But that is if you are very certain that the firmware update changed this!! But it could also be a lot of things like Payload packet in 3G.
