Capture Windows 10 Display using mini recorder

PostFri Sep 08, 2017 2:07 am

Hi All!
Newbie here! Thanks so much for letting me post here!

I'm using OBS with the mini recorder (on a Mac) trying to capture a Windows 10 DVI signal.
I have tried a lot of settings on both the Windows and the Mac to no avail! Could someone give me some leads please? Thanks!

Prob a P vs I situation..
Mini recorder tops out at a 1080i 50/60 resolution and ur pc is prob. running 1080p 60.
Also 60 from the pc may not be 59.97 that the m/recorder expects.

As a test you could setup for 720p which is a progressive signal the m/recorder can handle.
Not necessarily something you'd want to use, but it might show it can handle p60 as 59.97
Otherwise you'll have to force a 1080i signal or use a scaler like the decimator hd-mx.
