new CCU Control surface for ATEM available

Recently I completed a FOUR camera Control surface for any ATEM Production Switcher as there were not many available.
This one has the ability to control ALL the available ATEM CCU functions on any of the available camera's.
Its called a 4xCCU Basic Controller. The word 'basic' means it has minimal knobs, buttons and indicators but it is FAR from basic in what it can do.

The 4xCCU Basic Controller is especially useful if you are using Blackmagic Studio/Micro camera's with B4 lenses and my B4 lens controllers. I also have controllers for some other camera's but most of my video's are based around the BMD solutions.

Here are some video's of the 4xCCU Basic Controller's functionally....

NOW with touchscreen control!

Image

With the optional touchscreen you can view all the CCU settings as well as adjust all the parameters including setup items, other CCU items like gain, shutter, zoom, focus etc.

The touchscreen display also offers discrete control of any Videohub AND ATEM AUX busses not to mention a SmartScope.

There will be a demo video posted shortly.

This video shows how you can use the 4xCCU Controller with the optional touch screen to adjust the SmartScope Duo 4K parameters for each of the 2 monitors including:
• Display type
- Waveform
- Picture
- Vector 100
-Vector 75
- Parade RGB
- Parade YUV
- Histogram
- Audio Dbfs
- Audio Dbvu
• Audio channel
• Brightness
• Contrast
• Saturation

It also shows how you can use the 4xCCU Controller to control any AUX buss of an ATEM and any output buss of a Videohub using both 'hot cut' or 'take' mode.

Another 1 take wonder!

This video shows how you can load and save each of the four camera settings on the 4xCCU controller using the Touch Screen display.
The Load/save can also be used for copying all or selected settings from 1 CCU position to another all at the same time.

I have added an extra function to the Load/save menu that allows saving and loading of the configuration settings.

I have also made a video on the touch screen overview.

.... and for those who like a mystery.....

NOW WITH PTZ!!!

This uses the ATEM PTZ commands in their UDP protocol, which makes it possible to control the camera's PTZ head from geat distances away just using the camera's return feed (either coax or fiber).

In this youtube video I show it being used with a BMD Micro Studio Camera utilising its built in RS422 PTZ output.

There has been a software update for the 4xCCU Basic Controller.

Here is a demonstration of the recently added PTZ control (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) features of the 4xCCU Controller 'touch screen' versions that includes selectable pan/tilt movement direction.

This feature adds the menu item 'PTZ' to the home screen. Pressing PTZ goes to the PTZ page where you can control a PTZ head that is connected to an ATEM using the provided camera return feed. When in the PTZ page you can control all 4 cameras allocated to the CCU controller.

The IRIS knob controls the PAN and the PED knob controls the TILT. By using the ALT button you can change the knob functionality to allow the IRIS knob to control the ZOOM and the PED knob to control the FOCUS.
There is also the ability to reverse the direction of the knob turns to suit different PTZ head mounting options. By using the SETUP>>SYSTEM menu items you can change the individual PAN and TILT directions for each of the 4 CCU camera positions.
