Is it a must to pair Ultimatte 12 with Ultimatte Smart Remote 4 in order for it to work or can use software to do the control?
The tech specs listed say the control panel is required. We have an Ultimatte 11 that I believe can be controlled from software only, but I think it would be pretty tedious compared to using the remote.
edit: There are telnet controls available, but there may not be any third party solutions developed for a while.
