Hello,

i have to plan a video surveillance for an local Police Station.

The Hardware could be:

3x Camera Marshall CV343-CS with appropriate lens (for versatile Viewing Angles)
3x Condenser Mikro (1x Rode NTG4 / 2x Rode NT5s)
1x Audio-Preamp-Mixer-Compressor-Limiter = Behringer X Air12
1x ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K
3x Hyperdeck Studio Mini (each Camera one Hyperdeck)
1x LAN Router with DHCP-Server (1x PC / 3x Hyperdeck / 1x ATEM / 1x X Air12)
1x Standard-PC (Win10 / DVD-Burner / 8GB RAM / Cardreader / 2x Harddisk (One for Windows - One for Videofiles)
1x Nero Platium to convert Videofiles and make DVDs (on the PC)
1x ATEM Software (on the PC)
1x Behringer X Air Edit f. PC (on the PC)
1x FTP-Software Filezilla


So my Questions are:


Does the ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio route the Incoming Audio (from the Analog XLR) to the SDI out of the 3 Aux out? (on the 3 Aux out are the 3x Hyperdeck Mini fix routet from the SDI-Inputs)
Or is there no Audio on Aux Out?
Routable on the ATEM Software?


The Hyperdeck Studio Mini are described (on the BM Website) to FTP Media Upload.
Can i also download via FTP the Media (to the PC)?
Is this Function proper?

Hello Andreas. Yes, the program audio in the ATEM which can be a mix of external audio with camera sources if you like, will be embedded into all outputs of the switcher. You may set the mix level in the software control. The Hyperdeck Minis have ftp support in both directions. Hope this helps.

Keep in mind the decks do not have a rollover recording feature. When the disk is full, it will stop.

But the video surveillance is only for the time of interrogation of the accused in a criminal case.
So a planable Timeframe.....

Please not that if you're using a ATEM you'll need the CV343-CSB which outputs the 59.94/29.97fps that the BM ATEM will want to see coming from the camera.
