Wondering if anyone else has experienced problems interfacing Black Magic with Kanex products. I have the SDI out of an ATEM TVS HD going to a Kanex SDI to VGA converter, (BMD doesn't seem to have one).
I am getting only the green color. Also tried going straight from an HDMI camera to a BMD HDMI-SDI converter then to the Kanex SDI-VGA and got the same result (green only). Also took the same camera to BMD HDMI-SDI converter and then tried a Kanex SDI-HDMI converter into a monitor and got the same result again (green only) Are their known compatibility issues here. Any input would be greatly appreciated..thanks!

Your VGA monitor is likely set for RGB color space, and "video" is in YUV color space. Your monitor will need to be changed to YUV or "component video" in order to display this properly.

What Roger says.. You will have a green / Purple image now if your monitor only supports RGB colorspace.

Or the Kanex converter is just faulty..
