Tips on getting a feed from a computer source

PostSat Oct 14, 2017 6:39 am

Greetings Black Magic forum,

Running a job where the client has requested to input a computer video source into our feed via HDMI (using a 1 M/E). If the source were running on the same computer doing the encoding it would make more sense to me, but I'm stumped on how I can make sure the video source will match our camera's settings (1080P 23.976).

Using Wirecast to encode & upload.

Thanks all!

You need a scaler/converter to do this. As a pc/laptop will never go as low as 23.97.

Decimator MD-HX or Datavideo DAC 70 ;)
