Decklink SDI undetected

PostMon Oct 16, 2017 8:46 pm

Hi everyone!

I know I've got something old, but please help me with this, I don't know what to do anymore!

I own a Blackmagic Decklink SDI (BDLKSDI) which I used in a HP Compaq computer without any problems. I've just bought a HP ProDesk 600 G1 and I've plugged my Decklink into the PCI-e x1 slot number 2. Neither Media Express or Windows Device Manager detect it. I've tried all of the PCI-e slots and I ran into the same situation, excepted the PCI-e 16x slot. It works perfectly when plugged there. However, I can't leave it there since my GPU will need this slot.

I've put the BIOS to factory defaults and updated it, what could I do now? I've listed my hardware at the bottom.

Thank you very much for your help, it's going to be really appreciated!

Update! I've found how to fix this. I went to my BIOS, and there is a kind of power plan for PCI devices. I've disabled this option and now, everything works fine!

I hope it could relief someone from a headache!
