VGA Laptop into HDMI or SDI on ATEM Television Studio HD

Hi,

I use the ATEM Television Studio HD and have had great success with everything, except when someone only has VGA out on their laptop!!

I've got a cheap(ish) VGA to SDI converter which has always been fine when adapting a VGA laptop into an older switcher or just running straight to a projector or TV. However the ATEM doesn't show anything when this is connected.

I'm running the whole system in 1080i50.

Does anyone know of a scaler that will work?

I use the Gefen EXT-VGAA-HD-SC.

We started out using the gefen converters but now use dac70's when we happen across a VGA port.. So I'll 2nd Daniel's choice for them..
