Urgent : Problems with Orah/Insta360Pro and ATEM & Converter

PostTue Oct 31, 2017 4:37 pm

Hello all !

I have to problems with Blackmagic ATEM Production 4K and 360° caméras : ORAH & INSTA360PRO.
It is surely a problem of compatibility but that I have to solve ASAP.

> FIX 1 : INSTA360PRO : When I connect the camera via a BMD adapter Heavy Duty HDMI to SDI 4K to a BDM Smartview it displays the video without problem 720p. WORKS but not 2160p like my HDMI video output in camera.

For example : When I connect the camera via a BMD adapter Heavy Duty HDMI to SDI 4K to a BDM Smartview it displays the video without problem 2160p25 DCI. WORKS.

> FIX 2 - When I connect the cameras via a HDMI to SDI 4K BMD Heavy Duty adapter to an ATEM Production Studio 4K it does not display anything at all. Yet the ATEM is well tuned to 2160p25. DOESNT WORK

Can you help me ?

Thanks :D

Little confused about the problem.

Fix 1 - says you get video through the converter but only at 720p -- then you say that when connected, it works at full 2160

Can you absolutely verify that you are in fact sending 2160p to your switcher?

The converter has a few modes in the "FORMAT" switches. It might be telling your camera to send 720p rather than UltraHD.

You can verify this by changing your ATEM to 720p (whatever the monitor says your frequency is at) and see if you are getting signal.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply :)

The problem is simple and do not come from home but Blackmagic and Orah and Insta360Pro all 3 do not recognize or hurt!

Everything you mentioned as a test was already done!

This is new 360 camera tools so maybe we need Blackmagic to fix that ASAP.
