Hyperdeck Studio Mini

we have a Hyperdeck Studio Mini to record 3 hours events and we record with DNxHR LB Codec, because of the low data rate. The result is a not so well and we are thinking about a recorder with .H264 Codec. Is it imaginable that the Hyperdeck Studio Mini becomes an Update with Codecs or what do you thinking about that?
