Rackmounting TVS Pro HD

PostTue Nov 21, 2017 4:36 pm

I'm building a portable OB system and I'm trying to rackmount the TVS Pro HD (the version with built-in control panel).

I've purchased a sliding shelf for the TVS to sit on, although I'm struggling to work out how I would secure the TVS to the shelf in order to keep it safe!

Have any other members tried this?

Thanks

Mine fits in a sliding rack shelf. You can always turn the sliding shelf upside down. This usually gives you some more room.

I remembered someone mentioned in the forum that there are 4 screw holes in the bottom of this panel to secure it.. But maybe i'm completely wrong..

It is only 2 small screws into the switcher and 2 into the recorder for my setup.

Using the larger version with full control panel.

Not sure where the 4 screws for mounting are?

Hello All. I'm the one that said there were 4 holes. I was incorrect and I apologize. There are only 2 holes in the bottom of the panel. From the picture posted previously they are the top and bottom holes.

Regards, Gary

there is always velcro. or we use this 3M tape that holds very securely...

that being said, are you transporting this yourself or using a freight/shipping company ? I've have to rebuild/remount tons of things over the years due to shipping companies and their rough handling and breakage. never a problem when I move my own gear...

Sorry I just noticed you have the PRO HD unit.
Mine is the other shelf mount.
