HDMI from other computer via UltraStudio Mini Recorder

Hi,

For a video installation, I would need to use two Mac computers to process video streams (too heavy task for one computer). I can get the cameras' HDMI signals to computer, no problem. I also tried getting the HDMI signal from one computer (HDMI out) to the other computer via UltraStudio Mini Recorder, which succeeded. However, the colours were off, very dark.

So, I would like to know, how to do this – having the computer's HDMI signal taken to the other computer via Mini Recorder and having the "original" video colours?

Or would there be another, better, solution to share the processed video signal between computers?

If you have a Color shift like Purple and green then there would be a RGB YUV conversion problem.. But dark colors i never heard off.

Try another source and try another HDMI cable.
