ATEM Emulator

PostWed Nov 22, 2017 7:50 pm

Does anyone know of any type of emulator for the ATEM switchers? I do some audio work and I have a program from Yamaha that lets me setup the mixer routing and labeling from my laptop then I just load the file into the mixer from a USB key. This eliminates a TON of time on show site during the setup. I'd like to be able to open the Switcher control on my laptop while not connected and label my buttons and pre assign my routing, then when I get onsite just load the .xml file and have the switcher be setup. Any ideas or thoughts?

No official support for online use of ATEM control software, but one could in theory edit existing XML.

I have created this snippet definition for VS-Code to insert some common macro operations or create an entire ATEM configuration file for macros.

It is a bit of a techie approach but could be extended to include other areas of the XML config file.
