Blackmagic design micro converter HDMI to SDI

PostSat Dec 30, 2017 12:23 pm

Hi every one,
I have bought yesterday MIcroConverter HDMI to SDI . After connecting the cables and turning the converter power on , I made a channel scan on the TV to find the frequency of the converter but the scan result was"no channel found" . So I have got no image on my TV screen Even though the laptop detected a secondary screen connected and also if I connect the converter USB's to the laptop, it can be discovered.
Could any one help me solving this problem?

There are multiple things wrong with your post if I read it verbatim.

How are you connecting the converter to your TV? If HDMI, then you have the wrong converter, an HDMI to SDI converter connects FROM HDMI only, not TO.

If SDI, then why are you doing a channel search? An SDI signal is not an old fashioned channel on a frequency - it is a digital signal that needs specific circuitry to work. If your TV has an SDI input (not just a BNC), then you will find it as selectable in your input list.
