H.264 Pro Recorder not recognized in BME Mac or Win

H.264 Pro Recorder not recognized in BME Mac or Win

Hi, I´ve working with my H.264 Pro Recorder almost 2 years, but after the last update I can´t see video in Media Express or record, the device tab appears with the name "H.264 Pro Recorder" dimmed, I´ve tried updating to earlier versions either Mac or Win, from Desktop Video 10.3 to 10.9.9, never failed the firmware update.

In Windows I have tried with W8 and W10, and the Mac has Sierra 10.12.6, but it is the same.

I also use the ATEM TVS and works perfectly in Mac or PC (using Ver. 6.1 in order to allow to record). Newest updates don´t allow to record from the USB output.


Does any one have a solution? or the BMD products have an expiration date?

I have seen more reports last few days about Desktop video 10.9.9 :roll:

I think it is best you contact BMD support on their email to get a support ticket for this.

Hi Antonio,

I am having same issue. Been using the h.264 recorder for years but decided to update Desktop Video for the first time in about 2 years which I really regret!

Did you get a response from BM? Any idea how to solve this issue? Very frustrating!!
