ATEM Software Control Delay

Hello,

My current issue is that I have two wired cameras, one wireless camera, and audio coming through an xlr all running into one ATEM 1 M/E Production Switcher. All cameras are through SDI connection.

The two wired cameras and the audio sync perfectly and there is no issue; however, the wireless camera has a slight delay due to the latency between the camera and the switcher and thus the audio looks weird when a person is speaking.

I was wondering if there was a way I could sync up all of the cameras using delays or some other function. Another solution is to switch audio from the xlr to the camera when ever I switch to program. Is there a way to sync audio to the camera switching? I am open to any and all suggestions. Thanks for any assistance you might have.

P.S I am using a taradek cube encoder and decoder for the wireless camera.
PPS I am hoping for software solutions as this is for an event on Saturday.

Teradek Cube is a streamer not a live video link. You will have anything from 1 - 10 seconds delay... This may even vary from 1 day to the other.. It is not a fixed latency.

Why not use a near zero delay wireless video?? Like the Teradek Bolt, This will give you a maximum of 1 frame delay which is un-notishable for audio lipsync.

But normally you want to send the audio with that video.. (Embedded in the video.) Then the audio will be in Sync with the video.

Put AFV(Audio Follow Video) mode on in the Atem. It will switch the audio source with the video.. And keep the XLR inputs on at all times for your House audio feed.

You can select which channel to include in AFV mode with the buttons below the audio fader.

In this picture you will see Cam 3 and 5 configured for Audio Follow Video. While the ON buttons says Always on.
