Getting two Video Outputs out of one MacBook Pro

Hi guys,

so lately we started working on a Setup for Live Events and tried to figure out if it is possible to output 2 different Video outputs out of a single macbook, since we wanted to play some Videos into our Blackmagic ATEM, because since we only own the 1 M/E version we are not able to load in Videos into the Mediatab.
So far we tried to use our two UltraStudio Mini Monitors with the provideoplayer 3 software, however provideoplayer will only allow you to map one Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Monitor output.
Now I am asking for help if anyone knows an alternative software or a setup switch to achieve 2 different outputs please let me know.

Regards,

Mats

If Im following your post correctly- two seperate outputs from one mahine.

We utilize the Thunderbolt to HDMI-> Decimator MDHX->Sdi. This allows frame rate conversion to 59.94.

We use this for ProPresenter for example. Downstage monitor, Program Feed.

I will say depending on your video card- running Dual outs can be very taxing on your machine.

Any suggestions?
We also tried to just give out a video signal via a thunderbolt to hdmi adapter, but this was not the outcome we wanted, since it just gives us a second Screen and not a real video output

We are able to get up to 3 up to outputs on our mini macs all running at 1080p60
1 Hdmi Main out to BM Switcher
2 Thunderbolt 1 Txt Key to BM Switcher (pro presenter Stage view)
3 Usb converter Desktop

4 Blackmagic Thunderbolt 2 to SDI (pro-Presenter and FCP only)

That does indeed sound great, unfortunately it is a Windows application only, and as stated above we are running on a MacBook Pro.
I didn't found a similar product for Mac which offers multi channel mapping with two Mini Monitors.
vmix for Windows seems to have the ability to output 2 different signals over UltraStudio Mini Monitors, so if you know any kind of software which is able to do this, or any other suggestions, how to get two different external outputs out of the MacBook, please let me know.

Vmix is win only also, although
both would prob. run under win with parallels?

Hi everyone,

finally found a solution the program "Millumin 2", is able to output two black magic UltraStudio Mini Monitors at the same time, and through this give out separated video outputs out of one machine at the same time.
Thanks everyone who replied and try to fix the issue.
