SmartView Duo to SmartScope Duo upgrade?

They seem to be the same device with the only difference being the firmware. Is there any way to upgrade the SmartView to become a SmartScope?

I don't think it is ONLY the firmware.

They used the same outer body setup. But I think inside there is a much bigger processor to do this.

The Smartview Duo probably only have HD-SDI to screen converters inside. Which do only some converting of the data.

Well would an update be wise? Or do you sell more units if you have another device

Honestly I wouldn't expect the update to be free! I would assume it would be the price of software like scopebox. I would be happy to spend the difference on the smartview for a scope!

they use the same case, the same LCD screens... but replaced the electronics entirely.
