ATEM Television Studio HD

PostThu Mar 01, 2018 7:04 pm

Hi blackmagicer,
I've just received my ATEM Television Studio HD and testing it. I found that I can't use two different sources of cameras like DSLR which is 1080i and another source with 1080P at the same time. only the one that I change the ATEM setting to match will be reviewed. Please advise.

For us, the ATEM will only notice sources with the same format, if you set it up

I own 3 of the Roland VC-1-SC. These scalers help me adjust resolution on sources that are not ATEM friendly. Keep in mind these will introduce a tiny bit of video delay so lip-sync might be a tiny bit off if doing Imag (not really noticeable if streaming). One way around is to run audio into the camera and pull audio through SDI or HDMI. This will now delay both and keep synced.
