Smart Videohub ethernet control
Posted: Tue Mar 06, 2018 6:04 pmI'm using an Extron IPCP Pro control processor which shows that it is connected to the Videohub, but it will not accept any matrix tie commands. I've tried both "client" and "server" on the switcher, enabling and disabling "take", using RS422 over ethernet driver, and using "regular" ethernet drivers.
The bottom line is that the control processor "sees" the Videohub just fine but the videohub won't take commands.
I am sure they are talking because the status is accurate - if I pull the Videohub off the network, the control processor reports disconnected and when I put it back on the network it reports connected.
Any help is appreciated.
