Hi,

I use the ATEM in the moment at 1080i50 but the videos are all for internal use and view on PC and Mac. the problem is the de-interlace that software do on fly that is bad. Most of time is interviews and talk shows, media training and after the record the client take the file no editing. Some people complain about the artefacts (because is interlaced video) should i use 1080p25?

I have read the DPP standard and the say that for HD i should use 1080i50.

I need an advice!

Thanks

for internal use, just use 1080p25, it can be used as 1080i50 if required anyhow

I think 25/50 is/are for interlaced frames, can't throw much light on this.

The below content is taken from other forum:
1080p/50 gives you the best of both worlds: the entire spatial resolution of a full progressive frame and the increased temporal resolution of 25i video.
