Switching is Direct Cutting instead of previewing!

Hello All,

Hoping its a simple solution. I am relatively new with my atem and twice now we have had not allow us to use the preview. Because it happened mid broadcast I am not sure if I accidentally selected something or hit a button that made it do this but if you selected a camera it would just cut to it instead of previewing it.

I did check in my preferences to see if something changed there and it is still set to the program/preview.

IF I unplug and plug the switcher in it solves THAT problem because it resets the atem, but then it brings up a whole slew of other problems as my other gear loses connections.

Has anyone else ran into this and been able to fix it without a reboot?

What ATEM model did you use? And how do you control it?

If you are using the software you have hit the control button.
You have then enabled hot switching, you can see on the screen that the cut button are colored red when you have hot switching enabled.
Easy fix, just hit control again. The cut button goes back to white.
