Few questions about ATEM 4 M/E Broadcast Studio 4k

PostWed Mar 21, 2018 8:47 pm

We are planning on buying the new ATEM 4 M/E Broadcast Studio 4K, along with the new 4k broadcast cameras. I just wanted to know about a few scenarios etc.

First lets say someone gave me a bunch of images that they wanted us to show one right after the other with no gaps in between, can this switcher handle this internally?

Second How many lower thirds can you handle with ease? For example: 4 people total, each has a lower third and they need to fade on, but not be tied to a specific camera angle.

Third handling video playback, best practices?

Lastly people talk about MimoLive, Casper CG, etc. Is this so you can better handle animated lower thirds, scoreboards, and the like? How does one even go about incorporating one of these systems into the workflow of the switcher?

Upload all the images as a sequence, and you can play them frame by frame - or upload them all to an individual media player slot chronologically, and you can change the media player content by pressing Next :)
