Problem with Blackmagic MultiView 16

PostMon Apr 02, 2018 11:10 pm

Hello.
I'm having a problem displaying it on Blackmagic MultiView 16.
This problem is only on the display of the signal.
The frames and the sound meter are displayed correctly.
The picture is clearly visible.

What resolution and framerate is the source?
What is the source? A Settop box receiver?

Have you tryed to connect the source to a different input?

Have you tryed connection the source to a sdi monitor? what does it do then?

Resolution 720x576 PAL
This distortion at all inputs.
Different sources, not stb.
Have you tryed connection the source to a sdi monitor? yes, there is no distortio

Image defect is only on the display.
Input and output signals are correlated.

1 thing that looks very strange to me after looking a second time.. The logo top right corner is always good.. Why is the Logo ok and the image distorted..

Where is the logo embedded and could it be possible that the signal screws up before the logo insertion?

Screws up of signal excluded
The single with the logo gets into the BM in its normal form.
The signal at the input and output of the multiview is normal, checked on a separate monitor, each input and output.

I’m having this same issue with our multiview 16. Reboots fix it but then it eventually happens again. Latest 2.2 firmware.

I solved this problem. Cooling was interrupted. Clogged ventilation grill.
It is necessary to check the cooling, clean the holes for the air flow into the device. Provide a clearance above and below the ventilation device.

I actually have 1 RU of space above and below the unit. I turned down the AC in the room and I haven't seen it happen since. Thank you!

On the case of the device, left and right are openings for both air inlet and outlet. I recommend blowing them off with a vacuum cleaner.
I do this every month.
