DeckLink mini recorder + Hyperdeck Studio

Hello,

I hope you are doing well.

I am currently using:
- a hyperdeck studio
- a decklink mini recorder (pci express version)
- an atem production switcher

So far I am able to record in PRORES codec with the hyperdeck studio.

My question are:
- Is it possible to record in PRORES codec with the decklink mini recorder (pci express versio) integrated in a PC and running on windows 10?
- Is it possible to synchronize the recording between hyperdeck studio and decklink mini recorder? What I mean, it's a kind of trigger which launch the recording both on hyperdeck and decklink (maybe through atem production switcher) in order to have the same timecode on both recordings.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Regards,

Bilal. This is a user forum.. Not the blackmagic support site.!! We rely on users to help eachother out.

Recording with the Decklink mini recorder you need software that does support prores.. Media Express the free software of BMD does not support prores. So you need external software for that.

No there is no way to trigger them both together. You can put a Audio to SDI converter behind the Atem output. Insert timecode into the converter. And record that.. Then sync that up later if needed.
