Gopro5/6 (+ MD-HX) vs. professional minicams (Marshall,AIDA)

Which cam can offer a better picture quality during a HD live production? I'm afraid, that professional minicams are not able to offer the newest (/best) CMOS sensors and image processors like a GP. I understand, that profi minicams have got many advantages (SDI ouput, interchangeable lens, manual settings etc.) but is it so essential? ;) Have you got some expiriencis with this?
