Television Studio Pro to control Sony SRG300H?

Any pointers on how to connect the BM to the Sony? Can there be a RS-422>RS-232 converter between instead of using the Phoenix connector on the Sony?

I use a Huddle Cam Controller. Very reasonable price and good control.

Hello Ted. I will say there are RS-422 to RS-232 adapters but not all RS-422 converters are the same. We use the SMPTE or some call it the Sony 9 Pin pinout on the connector. Many offered simply wire the 5 wires on pins 1-5 which will not work. I have some of each and I have made adapters to convert non SMPTE adapters. Probably more work than simply wiring to the terminal strip. Also note if you do get the correct RS-422 to RS-232 adapter, you might need a Null Modem in the line since both the ATEM and Cameras are wired as Receivers. Hope this makes sense.

Warining: a null modem cable would never be used in the RS422 connection. It would only be used on the RS232 end of an rs422 adapter.
