Live Webcast - HDMI to SDI converter confirmation

Hi All,

We are doing a live webcast using professional grade encoders from Digital Rapids. These encoders only accept SD SDI. I purchased two of the BlackMagic Battery HDMI to SDI converters. Is there any way to force a down convert to SD SDI, even if the input HDMI signal is in HD? I just re-read the tech spec's on these converters and it doesn't look it will do this job. Anyone can confirm? Thank you.

The normal HDMI to SDI can downcovert, the battery type is not able to do this (this would draw too much power from the battery). There is a up/down/cross mini converter or you can try to give back the battery converter for a standard one...
