Hi there,

Looking to record my program and a camera ISO using two HyperDeck Studio Minis.

I would really like to synchronize the recording of these two units, but the terminology on the BMD website says that syncing the signal is a feature of playback.

Is there a way to make one deck trigger the others, or perhaps a third device that could function as a record start/stop button for these decks?

Also open to software options, as we'll have a Mac connected to the switcher.

Hello Steven. If you are using an ATEM switcher, you may control up to 4 Hyperdecks within the software. You could easily create a macro that will place them into record. Note that there could easily be a frame or two difference in the record start due to the way the SD or SSD cards behave.
