Scoreboard Data Interface Software

I'm researching ways to get live data from our scoreboard controller onto our graphics, mainly so we can have a countdown clock for football. I emailed Fair-Play (the company that makes the scoreboard) and he says they sell a data interface box but it doesn't come with any software.

Does anyone have any idea what software is needed to get it from the controller and on our graphics.

Yes, such scoreboard Controllers (or extension boxes) sends plain data,most through serial port or text file based. You will need a software reading this data and generating a graphics. E.g you can write a small VB program rading the data and sending to an CasparCG (free software). Maybe ask at CasparCG forum for help.
