ATEM TV HD & Apple TV

We have an ATEM TV HD configured for 720p 59.94 with a mix of HDMI and SDI inputs.

There is a new Apple TV (non-4K model) that is connected via HDMI and set to output 720p

If everything is powered on at once then the Apple TV input remains black.

If the ATEM unit is power cycled after the Apple TV is powered up, then the signal from the Apple TV input works. Until the Apple TV goes to sleep, then it goes dark and won't come back.

Power cycling the Apple TV on its own will not fix the issue, unplugging and reattaching the HDMI cable doesn't change it, only power cycling the ATEM will.

The other input sources (HDMI & SDI) work fine.

Any suggestions on how to avoid/fix this?

If it's an issue with the Apple TV and it going into Sleep Mode, simply turn that off or change the settings so it does not go into that mode as quickly.

Thanks -- it doesn't seem to just related to sleep mode though, but I'll see what I can disable.

If I power on ATEM and then power on the Apple TV box it doesn't work until I powercycle the ATEM which since we want to move that gear into a wiring closet is something of a pain!
