Has anyone had this issue with ATEM Software control? I have tested this on 2 laptops and 2 switchers and is repeatable - despite 7.2 being reliable for us since its release.

MIDI feedback? If you have a midi loop back software running on a machine running atem software panel you can get a midi feedback loop which causes this behaviour

Typical a Midi problem.. It triggers some mackie comands.. And this will always trigger the Atem software.. Problem is you can't turn off the Midi control mode in the Atem software.. It is always there..

Disconnect every midi device.. Turn off software that sends midi commands internally in the laptop..

That makes some sense - although I don't have any midi gear plugged in - and haven't for months.
Theres also no weird midi instruments in the midi setup of OS-X. At least I've got an area to problem solve now.
Thanks for the pointers.

When on the Audio tab of an ATEM it sends out massive amounts of data (mainly audio levels). Just watch your network leds go! If you have a slow or otherwise busy network this can cause the UDP data packages from the ATEM to go missing and that of course can have undesirable effects.
Try connecting your computer with the ATEM software control panel directly to the ATEM and see if that has any better results.

Itr doesn't need to be plugged in gear.. It could be as simple as some midi enabled software that is doing some tasks in the background.. For example Bome Midi studio or some other Midi tool..

If you're on a Mac, make sure the IAC driver is offline in the AudioMIDISetup.
