The camera shows a black screen, the settings can be configured and they are visible, feedback is also visible. But there is a problem with the matrix apparently. My colleagues faced the same problem and they replaced the camera. My camera was purchased in April 2017 and the warranty has passed.
Perhaps someone will tell you how to solve the problem and can it be a serial marriage?
Did you remove the lens cap? Sorry could not resist to make that joke..
Contact your nearest BMD region support. (Check contact form on the website) They will put you trough a few questions and will figure out if you have a faulty unit or not.
