How can connect 2 cams which have different FPS with ATEM

I purchased new Camcoder Panasonic UX90.

I have Panasonic AC90 also.

UX90 can be connected with Atem. (
AC90 can be also.

But when i connect 2 cam with atem same time, only one cam is connected with 1080i.

I think it s because of different FPS. (UX90-60p, 30p and 24p /

Is there a way to connect both?

Or is there a way to convert FPS?

Thank you.

Hello

You need an up down cross converter.

Decimator MD-LX - http://decimator.com/Products/MiniConve ... MD-HX.html

Blackmagic Mini Converter UpDownCross HD - https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/au/pro ... converters

Both of these will help your issue by converting one of the outputs to whatever you request.

Hope that helps!

1. Thank you for your information

2. I checked both.

- But there is no option 1080i 50 to 1080i 59.94 (I am looking for this)
- and there is no option 1080i 59.94 to 1080i 50 in Blackmagic. only in decimator.
But I can't sure.

Would you give your opinion again pls?
I am in Philippines and it will take long time and expensive from order to arrival.

Thank you

So what is the problem? I do not think you need a Up/Down Cross Converter, the Panasonic AC90 outputs 1080i50, and you can set the UX90 can be set to record/output either 1080i59.94 or 1080i50, so just set the ATEM to 1080i50, and set the UX90 to 1080i50, and it should work fine.
Cheers

Thank you for your reply.

But I cant find adjustment on fps in ac90. It is only 1080i 59.94

And ux90 has some fps except 1080i 59.94

so there is no common field.

You need to set the AC90 to 50hZ (PAL) mode, then it will be in 1080i50.

I believe both the Panasonic AG-AC90 and AG-UX90 are region-specific cameras, which means they are probably fixed to either PAL (50Hz) or NTSC (60Hz) frame rates.

If I'm not mistaken the Philippines is an NTSC country, so you should probably be using NTSC frame rates (60Hz). Hopefully, both of your cameras are 60Hz models, if you somehow ended up with a 50Hz camera, you would need some kind of frame rate converter to get them both to work with the ATEM.

If both cameras are the 60Hz version, then you just need to make sure that they are both set to output the same resolution and frame rate, and also set the ATEM switcher to this resolution and frame rate. On most cameras there is both an internal recording format and a video output format (HDMI output) that need to be set appropriately.

If you want to use 1080i5994 on the ATEM switcher, then on the AC90 you would set the REC FORMAT to 60i and the OTHER FUNCTION -> HDMI RESOLUTION to 1080i. Note that even though the menu lists this as 60i, I believe it is actually 1080i5994.

On the UX90, you would set the SYSTEM MODE -> REC FORMAT to FHD 1080/59.94i (assuming the REC MODE is MOV or MP4). Then you would set the OUTPUT SETUP -> RESOLUTION to 1080i.

Yes, PImis NTSC stsndsrd, 59.94/60Hz. If he has one NTSC and one PAL fixed region camera, then he is back to needing the Decimator MD-LX to set the PAL camera to 0180i59.94
