Difference between both Mini Converter UpDownCross

Hi

Im looking the convert my dron signal from 720p to 1080i, I was reading that the Mini Converter UpDownCross can do this, however its $275, and the Mini Converter UpDownCross HD its $155

Why the HP is cheaper? can both do the same thing?

As I said, I need to convert a 720p signal to 1080i

The cheaper version will do what you require just fine.

The difference is in the outputs.

Most people I know use a decimator MD-HX. Pretty much industry standard from updown cross these days along with the DAC70.

The UDC HD is newer.. This unit just got released while the older UDC is based on older hardware and was arround 450 dollars when it came out..

I think that unit will get phased out when stock runs out.
